Our steps towards a more sustainable future of fashion

Recycling and Upcycling

Using recycled fabrics minimises the need for resources and reduces waste. While working with whats already there can have a massive impact if more and more brands discover it for their processes. Upcycling and redesigning pieces from past collections not only results in enriching creative processes, it also conserves resources while offering premium quality pieces made of leftovers from luxury brands. Repurposing high-quality materials contributes to a more responsible and eco conscious fashion industry.

Environmental impact

We source the fabrics for our collections from producers which proof certifications like RWS (Responsible Wool Standard Certification), GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and RCS (Recycled Claim Standard).

Using organic fabrics made from natural, renewable and biodegradable materials reduces our impact on the environment. Short distances from our ateliers all over Europe to our storage in Austria lowers our CO2 footprint by about 80 times compared to a brand which produces in Bangladesh and sells their collection in Europe.

Ethical responsibility

Manufacturing our collections exclusively in the EU, we support local economies and ensure ethical and safe working conditions for the artisans who create our pieces. Traditional craftsmanship which has been established over generations is being preserved and lives on in our creations.

Durability

By creating timeless pieces made of durable materials, we make it easy for our customers to buy less. Our high standards regarding the quality of the materials we use result in products which last for years — one way to combat overconsumption of low-priced, low-quality items which need constant replacing

Innovative technology

We see the future of fashion strongly intertwined with the technological innovations in the field. Improving inventory management, increasing personalisation of the shopping experience and a reduction of waste and materials are just some of the areas where the digitalisation impacts the fashion industry in a positive way. Digital and phygital fashion plays a significant role in creating a more sustainable and responsible fashion world.
